Executive Overview
A tailor-made commercial desktop Point of Sale (POS) and inventory management platform engineered for Egyptian retail businesses under Systemize EG. Engineered with an Arabic-first right-to-left (RTL) ergonomic interface, the software streamlines daily transaction logging, shift expense tracking, multi-payment channel split reconciliation, and automated Excel reporting.
The Challenge & Solution
The Core Problem: Small-to-medium Egyptian retailers struggle with complex Western POS systems that lack native Arabic RTL ergonomics and fail to accommodate local payment methods like InstaPay, Vodafone Cash, and manual split cash reconciliation.
The Engineering Solution: Developed an ultra-fast Java Swing desktop application featuring native Arabic typography, custom FlatLaf styling, and zero-latency transaction entry. Built an automated reporting service with Apache POI that compiles daily shift revenues, cashier drawers, and expense logs into formatted Excel spreadsheets.
